About Zoe

Introducing beautiful Zoe, a 3-4 year old Poodle, who weighs 9 pounds. She came to us from a hoarder situation where she spent her life in a rabbit cage, with little human interaction. Because of her prior life, Zoe is slowly learning how to be a beloved family member. She is learning that human touch is a good thing, and not to be feared. Zoe's new family will need to understand this, and have lots of patience and allow her to come out of her shell at her pace. Zoe is heartworm negative and microchipped. Zoe is learning her housebreaking skills and is a work in progress. This was not something she had to learn since she was living in a cage. Zoe is good with other dogs, and also likes cats. However, because of her fear, she would not be suitable in a home with young children. Their fast movements and activity level would scare her. Zoe is in a foster home with a mom and dad, and does good with both but Dad seems to be her favorite person right now. If your family could give Zoe the love, patience and time that she needs to flourish, we'd love to hear from you. Zoe is a wonderful dog who will make someone very happy.
