About Lucy Bell

Lucy Bell came to Second Chance because her family was moving from the country to the city. Lucy Bell is a 10-year-old Corgi mix. At first we thought Lucy Bell was fearful and was snapping at us out of fear. We took her to our vet to see if there might be a physical reason and there was. Lucy Bell had Lyme's disease and Ehrlichia. These are tick borne conditions and can cause sensitivity to touch. This was the reason Lucy was snapping at us when we tried to pet her. It hurt her to be touched. We were so grateful to find that it was something that could be taken care of. Lucy Bell was treated and is doing awesome now. She recently went to a temporary home and is now rolling over so the family can give her belly rubs! Lucy Bell is a 10 year old Corgi mix. She weighs about 31 pounds. Lucy's adoption fee is $175.00.
