These two adorable sisters were networked from a high kill shelter so they would not be put on the euthanasia list. At 7 months old they were deteriorating and kennel crazy, Red Rock Rescue could not say no. These two need separate homes-one is more dominant than the other and has decided she needs to protect her sister, thus we are separating them now. the shyer of the two appears to be coming out of her shell with this arrangement. Cattle dogs need exercise, routine, and a job. They are a lovely working dog, the key phrase being a job- that could be running with your daily run (remember, a tired dog is a happy dog), hiking on a regular basis, a fenced in yard that allows 'hunting' of leaves and sticks and grass and balls and frisbees, or agility training, therapy dog training. We are joking that they look a bit like hyenas....their coloring is as odd as it is beautiful. Neither of these pups have any real manners, we are working on that with in the foster home right now. Evaluation of these two happy energetic pups continue, as does their socialization with dogs and humans!
