About Haley

MEET HALEY!! This adorable 2 year old bi-color German Shepherd female is loads of fun. Haley has the energy of a puppy with the intelligence of a 2 year old. She is ready, willing and eager to learn. This girl came to us as an owner surrender when her owner moved and left her in the care of some 'friends'. Needless to say, she wasn't being cared for and with the help of a good samaritan, the owner was convinced to sign her over to the rescue. Of course, she had not been kept up to date on her heart worm preventative and as a result was heart worm positive. Haley has completed her heart worm treatments and is now ready for a forever home. She is looking for a family that is active, maybe has some children to play with and wants a fun and energetic companion. This girl has never been properly exposed to other dogs so therefore is not quite sure how to act around them. She will need slow and careful introduction and help learning that other dogs are fun to play with and can be her best friend. Haley has shown signs of serious prey drive and we therefore recommend a home without small dogs, cats or other critters such as chickens. Haley knows some basic commands, does well on a leash and rides like a dream in the car. She is crate trained and house trained. She is UTD on her shots, spayed, microchipped and on heart worm preventative. Adoption fee is $400.
