INDIANA (Black and white SH kitten) - AVAILABLE!Only $55 adoption!!! Indiana was rescued from a hoarder and brought to the shelter. At the shelter, she ended up on their euthanasia list for being fearful. That's when Safe Haven stepped in and rescued this beautiful little girl. Indiana was a little shy at first, but warmed up fairly quickly. She's a climbing little monkey and likes to climb up on things. She likes to go under the covers/blankets, and loves all toys and will play with just about anything (gingle balls, wand toy, etc...) and loves to watch the birds outside. Birthday: 8/27/17 (this was what the Vet guessed her age to be during the exam, but she is much smaller than the other kittens that same age. So she is either younger then the Vet thought, or she will be a small cat) Weight at last Vet visit: 4 lbs Cats: Yes, she is good with other cats and wants to go up and greet them and play. She has been friendly with all the cats here. She does have her favorites. She likes Epiphany the best and often goes up to her and rubs against her. Small Dogs: She's getting used to them Large Dogs: She's getting used to them Kids: Unknown, but older kids only because she is so small. Men: Unknown Women: Sweet and friendly Strangers: Keeps her distance and watches. Food: I feed all the cats on a rotational diet. Which means they get a different brand of high quality food each month. I do this because I do not think that one brand can provide all the nutrients that they need. Just like one food can't provide us with all that we need...Plus, who wants to eat the same thing every day? She is free fed (keep a large bowl out for her all the time). Litter Box Trained: Yes, I use the scoopable litter. Other issues: She has a kink at the end of her tail. You can't see it, but you can feel it when you run your hand down her tail. Adoption fee is only $55 & includes: - Spay/Neuter surgery - Tested for FELV and FIV per protocol (only cats that are negative go up for adoption) - Up to date on Vaccinations - Microchip - Collar - Other surprise goodies from Safe Haven - Free office visit to Vet - 50% off any Optimum Wellness Plan - 30 days of Free Pet Insurance (in case something comes up after adoption) - Other coupons from Partners - Available Paperwork: Spay/Neuter records, Vaccination records, Vet records, Micro records, Recommendation list, etc... - Continued Support: Safe Haven will be there for the lifetime of your new adopted pet. A: Updates are posted in each pets individual post on our Facebook page for Safe Haven Animal Rescue of AZ athttps://www.facebook.com/groups/1405138936478168/ . It will say the status in all caps at the very top of the pets post, and updates are posted in the comment section under each pets post. Once on the Facebook page, type the pets name in the search box to easily pull up all the posts on that pet. Q: I don't see a phone #. Will someone please call me? A: Everything needed is online. I have found that online is the most efficient way to get all the work done. In the past, when I posted my #, my phone rang off the hook all day. So I spent the whole day on the phone, with not much work to show for it at the end of the day. Again, everything needed is online. Q: How do I adopt this pet? A: Your first step is to fill out an application. http://www.adoptapet.com/Safe-Haven/adoption-application-cat Q: Can I adopt if I live out of state? A: Out of state adoptions are welcome. Additional fee applies. Fees start at $195 for transport + the adoption fee. All transported cats come with a collar with ID attached, a carrier with padding, health certificate if required, bowls, and of course food for the trip. Plus all the other things listed above that regularly come with adoptions. Q: Where is this pet? A: This pet is being fostered in a private home. Q: I like what you are doing & would like to help. Would you be open to a partnership? A: Absolutely! I am open to anything that helps care for the animals &/or saves more lives! Please e-mail me at Safe_Haven_Ani
