About Max

Max is very affectionate, happy-go-lucky dog. But he is protective of his family and needs to be supervised around children and other non-canines. He has completed extensive boarded training programs and is amazingly smart & can be very obedient. He knows many commands and tricks! Very intelligent dog. He's great on leash, and crate trained as well. He's also completely house trained. He needs a home where he can be as active as possible. Max would not do well in a young family situation or highly social(humans, not dogs) house, as he is very loyal and protective. Max has to be re-homed as he's shown aggression (no bites, just growls) to strangers in his current home where there's a baby. He has been treated very well since day one. The perfect fit would be an active couple or single, willing to commit to his commands, and with other dogs to play with.
