About Ace

Ace was rescued by GAP with what we thought was an ear infection. It turns out his ear was injured months earlier and it became infected and was left untreated for so long that his entire ear canal became swollen and it calcified like that leaving him with permanent damage. Despite treatments his ear only got worse so GAP raised money to have his ear surgically fixed. Ace no longer has an ear canal and probably can't hear out of that ear (he probably couldn't before the surgery) but his other ear is in perfect condition and he has no problems listening to commands. He is healed perfectly from surgery and his hair is all grown back and he is all set and ready for his forever home. Ace is a wonderful young boy!! He is so good with other dogs and just loves to play with all of them!!! He is definitely active but is quickly learning his manners and is house broken, potty trained, and kennel trained!!! He sits and shakes on command. He loves attention and if he does not have a dog to play with he will be in your lap for cuddles!!! Ace has not met a stranger and instantly loves everybody he meets! He has picked up on fetching the ball and seems to really enjoy it!!! Ace is heart worm negative, fecal negative, neutered, and vaccinated!!!!! He is about a year and a halve old and appears to be a shepherd/hound mix with maybe some lab in there.
