About Maisy

Hi, my name is Maisy. I am already house-trained, crate trained, spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and although a bit timid at first I love everyone I meet! I am a happy girl and have gained much of my confidence from the other dogs in the home. Could you be my lucky forever family? Maisy is an adorable 2 yr old Feist, mix weighing 30 pounds. She is such a sweet, intelligent dog with so much potential for the right family. She loves affection and cuddling with her foster family, especially the children. Maisy is a quiet girl, who seldom barks. Much like the cowardly lion, Maisy would not make a good guard dog . . . .she's afraid of the dark, the sound of the brook, rain, falling apples and the cat in the kitty litter commercial - but she would love to be protected from all that by someone who loves her. Maisy adores children, is great with other dogs, with cats and with chickens. Maisy knows to play gentle with the smaller dogs and rougher with the larger dogs. Maisy already knows basic commands. She loves her toys and relaxing in her crate. Maisy would do best in a home with another dog for a companion and role model as she is still working on her confidence. Any family would be so lucky to adopt this wonderful girl but they will need to be patient with Maisy until she settles in.
