About Pepper Ann

Meet Pepper Ann. No, not the animated character from the late 90s cartoon for children. Sure, that Pepper was 'too cool for seventh grade,' but our Pepper Ann truly is, 'like one in a million!' Pepper Ann is a 35 lb 2 year old female American pit bull Terrier mix. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Pepper Ann is house-trained and crate-trained. She was walks well on leash using a training collar and knows: Sit, Come and Let's Go! She is learning to 'wait' for her food and is doing really well with that. She also knows how to walk on a treadmill like a champ which helps on those late work nights to ensure that she gets her daily exercise. She enjoys spending time outdoors weather-permitting. And, when it's too cold outside, she is content to play with her toys or cuddle with her person. She is a very sweet girl. Pepper Ann is not interested in the cats that she lives with. She does well with other dogs given slow introductions, but can be quite dominant so she would either do best with a submissive male partner or as an only dog. Pepper Ann has not met any children, but she greets new adults in a very friendly manner. Pepper Ann is affectionate, eager to please, joyful, playful and well-behaved. Sometimes, she's 'chill' Pepper Ann and sometimes she's 'red-hot chili' Pepper Ann. Chill Pepper Ann, appreciates lying in the warm spot, the comfort of pillows and affectionate snuggles on the couch with her person. Chili Pepper Ann is a riot to watch. Give her a ball and she behaves like a cat, batting it about with her paws. But, it's the way she jumps up in the air with all four feet and spins around, that is most impressive. Now that winter snow packs the ground, she has discovered that she can 'spin out,' and 'do-donuts.' Pepper Ann, she's like one in million!
