About Chip

Adoption Fee: $100
Australian Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Chip has been our family pet since he was a puppy. He has always been fearful of other dogs since he was a puppy. We took him for training and he got a bit better, however recently our friend's dog has completely put him back and he is now become more aggressive towards other dogs and it also makes him on edge around other people if around them. The reason we are putting him up for adoption is because a few weeks ago he bit both of our friends while staying them, which we believe has to do with that he was around their dogs. However, we have a baby who is nine months old and no longer feel it safe. However, he has never lashed out at our baby or growled at him or anything. He is very loyal and can be very sweet. He can sometimes be temperamental and has a bit of a dominance issue. He is more submissive to men than women. He has bitten us before, but this was a long time ago when he was still a puppy. He deserves a great home and someone who loves to play fetch with him because that is his favorite thing ever! I love him a lot and wish it didn't have to come to this, but we feel it is right for our family.
