Rescue friends: I need ideas and help. This one is very personal. In December 2016, we had the most amazing dog on the adoption floor. The only dog we have had that never became reactive in the kennel by the door that all the dogs would pass. A kisser, a lover, a perfect dog. Overlooked because he was dusty black and a staffy mix. He was the first dog I ever fell in love with at the shelter. He was king of the zoomies and he had this adorable thing where he would trust fall into your arms for you to rock him like a baby. He was the dog that I couldn't delete the pictures of in my phone because he is still in my heart. Finally, after months he got adopted. Fast forward... January 2018... returned for the most preposterous 'bite quarantine' story I ever heard. He got hooked to a girl's braces that got ripped off. This dog came back shut down curled in a ball. After his quarantine was up I started to walk him. Slowly his personality came back. Yesterday, he was king of zoomies for the first time again. SADLY, HE IS ON THE RESCUE LIST.
