About Axel

Hello! I'm Axel! I am a fully housetrained, 3 year old, neutered male, Husky mix. I am a very shy boy. It takes me a bit to warm up to new people. I really like to have my 'person' that I can connect with. My foster family has other dogs and cats. I do get along well with all of them. I do not show any signs of food aggression, but my foster mom likes to feed me inside my crate because the dogs that live here to try to sneak my food cuz they are piggies! I do well inside my crate without accidents. I will cry for a little bit but I settle down quickly! I know how to sit and shake. I also walk very well on a leash with very little pulling. I love going got car rides! One of my favorite things to play with is my tennis ball! But it has to have a squeaker inside! I like to drop it down the stairs and run real fast down and catch it! A fenced in yard would be ideal for me. I do have a 9 year old human brother. I'm honestly not really all that sure about him. He doesn't act crazy and he's probably really nice but he just freaks me out. My Foster mom says that I would do wonderful in a home with just adults no children as I am scared of fast movements. I am not your typical high-strung husky. I am very low energy but maybe that's just because everything's new in Wisconsin and I need some time to open up. I'm currently being foster in Antigo, WI. My adoption fee is $250 that includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
