Bonnie's first years were not ideal. She was not abused but she was neglected. She had poor nutrition resulting in poor physical development. She was isolated in a dog run 24/7 from puppyhood on. A good Samaritan intervened for her and provided the medical care and attention she'd been lacking. Bonnie is affectionate and she is needy. She will thrive in the company of someone who needs her companionship as much as she needs theirs. This is a good time to reiterate that if you know of a dog being neglected or abused, take action - don't let the dog suffer because you didn't want to become involved.
