About Moose

Loving companion and genuinely one of the happiest dogs you will ever meet, needs a caring home. Our family is saddened by the thought of seeing Moose go. However, he is better suited without a toddler in his family. Moose has orthopedic symptoms in his back and hips and our son doesn't quite understand. The responsible thing for both our son and Moose is to provide a home he can be loved and cared for without the potential of a child jumping on him. Being a hound he barks when appropriate, but is very well mannered and listens when asked to stop. He is melow with our cat, and is easy with other dogs. He has never been one to wonder or stray and although he is bred to be a hunter, he'd rather be by your side. His breed is named for their majestic pressence and Moose fits that description to a tee. We never imagined we could not provide the right home for Moose...he deserves the best!
