I picked him up from a friend of a friend who was about to have to take him to a kill shelter. I can give him a temporary place until we find him a permanent home. What I have figured out: He's about 8months old, at least 50lbs of pure muscle, up to date on shots, but NOT fixed. He's potty trained, but not necessarily crate trained (though that could be a stress issue, as he has just quieted down). He is currently not eating too much, probably from the stress of moving twice in a week. He's a fan of other dogs and also of cats. He's got a fairly soft mouth. He's great with car rides. He's super sweet and affectionate with people. He does pretty well on a leash. I'm told he does well off leash as well. The only issues with him I'm finding are some dominance and anxiety issues - which you'd expect from an 8mo pittie. I did some work asserting myself with him this afternoon and he definitely just tried to undo it after mostly rejecting his dinner. He also apparently destroyed some of his personal stuff by chewing through it before I picked him up, so definitely he needs tough toys. I've bought him a XL crate that he can continue to grow into, a bed, a high quality XL harness that he can continue to grow into, a leash he can't chew through, and various toys and chews. He came with a full bag of kibble that I can't give him because I'm allergic to some ingredients, so he'll have that plus whatever food I buy him tomorrow. He's got a food bowl (no water bowl cause he's sharing with our current pets).
