About Okuma

Okuma (O-koo-ma) is a Chow...possibly a mix. Okuma is the name of a private beach and resort on Okinawa, Japan...a favorite place of the US military. Okuma is neutered, 2 vaccinations, and 1 Bordetella vax. At 3 mos of age he is 18#s. He will be large...probably about 50#s when grown. Okuma is very playful and the first one to jump in the water tub. He absolutely loves any toys. Chows are known for doing well in cold weather and being protective of the family. What is the best about Chows is that they usually don't need to be house trained. Instinctively, Chows and Shar Pei's usually just know to go outside. Chows are not good for apartments. They typically really love the coolness of the outside and is often miserable in an apartment with 'normal' heat. This litter of Chow puppies were found alongside the road...a 'drop off' litter. They are beautiful, big, fuzzy puppies that are totally happy with life. Their birthday (best guess) is 10/1/17. There are 2 boys (Okuma & MooShu) and 2 girls (Mei Ling and Songshi)...see additional ads. Adoption Fee: $450...includes all medical, microchipping, health certificate for travel and transport to the Pacific NW. These puppies are available for pre-adoption with delivery date of Jan 20th to one of our NW locations( Bothell, Federal Way, Olympia, Portland, Eugene). If any pup is not adopted before arrival he/she will go into foster homes and be available to meet with an approved application on a first come basis. We do offer a 5 day money back trial period so there is no risk in pre-adopt.
