About Rally

Adoption Fee: $175
Lab / Siberian Husky
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Hi! My name is Rally and I'm not perfect. Guess what? Either are you! And that makes us perfect for each other. Let me tell how. Single female? Guess what ladies. I am the only man you will ever need. I am 4 years old, which in dog years means I am mature enough to know good taste in shoes and not to mess with yours because ladies, they make your legs look killer. I admit, I am fairly average looking. This is a good thing though because I would never want to outshine you. You have a natural beauty that I am only here to compliment. I am a great protector. I love long walks on the beach, city streets, window shopping, in the park, whatever you prefer. I am happy as long as I am with you. If you're active, I would love to be your jogging partner too, but it's ok if not because I am a great walker. If you do decide to get another man in your life (not sure why you would when you have me) but if you do, I will accept him too! And we can watch football games together and then later binge on Netflix with you. If the man is dumb enough to leave you, I am a really good lounger and ice cream eater too! I'll always think you're pretty and I'll be super excited to see you every time you walk through the door. Single male? Let's hang out. Hey bro, how 'bout those Giants? Too soon'|? I am a great couch potato but also pretty fun to hang out with and get all nature like. Hiking, jogging, walking, picking up ladies/fellas; all that stuff. I don't really care if your place is a bachelor pad. I am not one to judge on your den's tidiness. And if you do have a special someone come to visit, they'll be paying more attention to my cuteness then your trashed place anyway so it's perfect! I am the perfect third wheel. Couple? Well, to me that means twice the affection and attention. And I'll steal it all. Seriously, look at this face. I have mastered the puppy eyes. Especially when I am told 'no'. We can all go on walks together! In all honestly though, not that the rest wasn't, I have been stuck in rescue for a really long time. I am considered their 'longest resident'. I was adopted as a baby and lived in that home for 4 yrs. Then I found myself back at rescue when they moved and didn't take me with. It was pretty traumatizing. Everything I'd ever known was gone. I really like puppies and they are my favorite to play with. I am not sure why but I am 'dog selective' they say. My rescue mom says something may have happened in my past to make me leery of other adult dogs. I can neither confirm nor deny because, well shit, I can't talk. But puppies man, puppies are so innocent. We can play all day. I also think cats suck but I'm not mean. I'd just rather pretend they don't exist. I am a little shy when I meet someone, but I'm pretty afraid they are going to abandon me again. Once I get to know you, I am your best, and I mean, BEST friend. So, I told you. I am not perfect. But I do deserve a home, I do deserve a family, I do deserve someone like you. If you think we could be best friends, I'd love it if you gave me a chance. I see all of these other, let's be honest, less attractive dogs come and go, and here I sit with no one even asking to meet me. It's looking like another year homeless for me. From my rescue mom: If interested in meeting Rally, and we hope you are, please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption can be finalized at that time as well. Adoption fee is $175 and Rally has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm tested, microchipped, and treated for any other known medical needs. Rally is guessed to be a Rottweiler/Heeler mix and about 45-50 lbs. He is 4 years old and he thinks he's plain and boring but we think he's quite handsome. We have him listed as dog friendly but as discussed, he is very dog selective. For instance, there was a puppy in rescue who was VERY dog aggressive and Rally adored her. They played and played. He is currently exercised with 6 other dogs and usually there are no issues but sometimes he just doesn't want to be social. I do think it is an insecurity thing and with the proper handler, he wouldn't have issues but for the average family I would suggest a puppy to grow up with him or no other dogs. He is shy with new people but I promise, once he feels safe, his silly self comes out and he is just a fun guy. If not interested in adopting, please just share his story. He deserves a chance. This boy really does.
