About Joey

This beautiful boy is Joey. He is only a year old and is as sweet as can be. Joey is 11.5 pounds and is being fostered in Orlando. INITIAL BIO 01/06/2018: Meet Joey. He is believed to be a Biewer Yorkie, though he is a big boy at 11.5 pounds. But you can see how beautiful he is. Joey was surrendered to United Yorkie Rescue because he was not getting along with the 4 year old boy in the household. UYR was told that Joey was trying to bite him, and that he would also try to bite the neighborhood kids. Joey just does NOT like kids of any age under the age of 16. He really needs an adult-only home. Joey is a very sweet little boy and gets along with adults just fine. He can be both quiet and playful. He did great in the long car ride to his foster home and he is getting along with the other dogs in the home. His former owner said he is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He sleeps all night in his crate, but he enjoys being with his people once he gets to know them. He does seem to like woman more than men, but once he knows them, he seems to love them equally. Joey just arrived at his foster home, so there will be much more to know about this sweet boy. One thing we do know for sure - Joey cannot be adopted into a home with kids. Adults only.
