Jack is very timid outside of the foster home. He is a Chihuahua mix. He just loves being held or laying next to his person in his home environment. It only takes a few minutes for him to love his human. He slept in bed with foster and played with 2 other small fosters dogs there. He also played with a 40lb labby mix. When being held, he wraps his paws around your arm and holds on. He will reach out with his paw for attention. He had healing bite wounds when he first entered a shelter which are now healed up. It takes gentle introductions with other dogs and then he soon will be best friends. He is partially house trained. The foster has puppy pads but also let the doggies out to potty. So Jack is working on potty training. He is slowly getting used to having a leash on. A quiet home with a doggie friend to play with would be the best for Jack. He will be a flight risk until he settles in. Jack is about a year and a half old. His adoption fee will be $200.00 which includes his neuter, current shots, heartworm check and micro-chip. If interested in him please go to our website at www.patriotsforpets.com and complete an adoption.
