About Hambo

This boy was taken in off the street before the major cold snap, after several weeks of coming around the house. He had no collar and was somewhat emaciated. We have fattened him up and treated him for fleas, and after an unsuccessful search for his previous owners, he is looking for a second chance. He appears to be a young pit (mix?), not neutered and will need to be taken to the vet. Not sure if he's vaccinated but assuming he's not. He is very playful with other dogs, though he still needs some work learning boundaries. He barks at and chases cats. He is getting better on leash but will require a strong owner. He is also working on potty training but still needs reinforcement. He is very sweet and loving to people but also very smart and a little stubborn. He requires the attention of an experienced owner. If you can meet these needs and give him the love, structure, and attention he deserves, he will make a great friend and companion. Please be willing to allow a home visit. Thanks for reading
