About Albert

Hi, I am looking for a home for my dog, Albert. He was a rescue from an abusive home a few months ago; he was very emaciated and fearful when I got him but he's put on a little weight and is a happy boy now (: I fell in love so I was planning on keeping him, but I feel like he'd do best in a home where he would get more attention. He is 3 pounds of pure sweetness. He absolutely loves anyone who will give him attention, he is a total lap dog. He is used to sleeping with me at night (that cannot change, he has to go to a home that will allow him to sleep in bed with someone) and loves to be carried around. He was once abused so he is leery of hands at first. He can be a barker, he likes to think he is a big boy lol! He is housetrained; he goes outside to the bathroom but I also keep a puppy pad down in case he can't make it outside. I've gotten him neutered and he is now up to date on all shots. He was also just treated with revolution about a month He is 2-3 years old. I will be very picky as to the home he goes to since he is my baby. He will not just go to the first person who contacts me. He has to like you! He cannot go to a home with children or large dogs due to his size. A home check is required and the new owner must keep me updated on how he is doing. If for some reason you cannot keep him (even years down the line) he HAS to be returned to me. There is a 200 rehoming fee just to cover vet expenses. He will come with multiple outfits and a harness/leash. He loves walks!
