We found Dusty as a puppy in an animal shelter in early December 2016 and adopted her because our other dog was lonely. They have gotten along great and played pretty rough, but as siblings do, they had a fight. We feel Dusty does not want to share her human's attention with another dog and needs to be an ONLY dog. She is a great, loving pet. Dusty is an energetic, playful dog who loves her people, but should be placed in a family with older children (12 yr. +). She loves walks, runs and protecting her yard from pesky squirrels. She uses a doggy door like a champ, and she enjoys a dig pit or sandbox to dig up tasty treats, buried pine cones or toys she can chew on. Please give her time to adjust to a new family and home as she is very confused and needs some cuddles.
