About Leia

Adoption Fee: $450
Alaskan Malamute
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

LEIA came to us from Odessa, TX. All we know of her history is that she was raised in an apartment and turned into their ACS. We don't know why. Her birthday is 2/13/17 (best guess). Leia is 47.5 pounds. She is a Silver Malamute...we believe purebred but no papers to prove it. She doesn't have a lot of manners yet...but she is very friendly, happy, and loves to play. She is good with children. I have not had her inside my house much in order to know if she is house trained. Only New Year's Eve she was allowed in the house all night and was VERY good after she got over the fire cracker sounds. She was free in the house and did not get into anything she shouldn't...like the trash, bags of dog food, chasing the cats, etc. She does think that cats OUTSIDE are for fun and games. LEIA is your typical Malamute...vocal...and loves to howl. She is beautiful. She is spayed, 2 vaccinations, 1 Bordetella, Rabies, and tested NEG for heart worms. Adoption Fee: $450. This includes all medical, up-to-date vaccinations including Bordetella and Rabies, microchipping, health certificate to be able to travel, and the cost of transport to the PNW. We will not be adopting her unless you have dog experience and live in a home with a yard and space. Malamutes are NOT apartment/condo dogs, they need plenty of exercise and stimulation and are vocal! She was dumped at a shelter in TX. Many shelters in TX and/or the SE kill 80-97% of what comes in. If she did not get to rescue she would not even be alive. To consider you for adoption, we do need a completed application with all questions answered. Below is the link for the application, please copy and paste. It is a very simple, easy form. If you have any questions, please put those in the application. Thank you. https://form.jotform.us/PNWdogs/ellen-petcentral-satx-apagree
