About Mr. Scruffy Pants

Hi, my name is Mr. Scruffy Pants - doesn't that name fit me like a glove! I was found as a stray and taken to County. I was terrified and would probably have been euthanized, but luckily Pammy saved me. Pammy spent a lot of time with me, teaching me to trust and love humans again, and now I'm ready to find my 'forever home'. I'm about 1 year old and I'm very shy. I will need a patient family who will give me time to feel safe so my true self can emerge. Other small dogs and maybe some older 'dog-friendly' children would be ok in my book too, but I would love to do a meet and greet first. I am a young dog so it would be great for me to have some basic obedience training with my new family, and I would need to learn the rules of my new home. I am a great dog who had a pretty rough life until I met Pammy. I really want a home where I can become that special dog I know I can be. Would you take a chance on me? I am current on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Interested in Meeting Me? Pammy's adoption events are held on most Saturdays from noon to 3 pm at Petco in Avondale and Goodyear, AZ.
