About Zeus

Meet Zeus! Zeus is around 12 months old and weighs 55 pounds. He loves everyone he meets and becomes your best friend when he knows you have food. This has helped him learn 'sit' and 'down' in a very short period in his foster home. Zeus loves nothing more than to feel like he is part of the family and will soak up any and all attention he gets. In his foster home we have learned that he likes to follow the other dogs around and play with them in the backyard. He has been good with dogs he has met, good with older kids, but hasn't been around cats. If there are kids in the home we are asking that Zeus goes to a family with older kids (preferably age eight or older). The ideal family for Zeus will provide him with daily exercise, continue his training and have a fenced yard for him to run and play in. Zeus comes to Revolution Rescue from a Nebraska shelter where he was an owner surrender. In his foster home he lives with a 4th grader and has been friendly and playful with everyone. We are told that Zeus was left as an outside dog and for that reason absolutely hates to be outside by himself for fear he will be left out there alone. Please keep this in mind if you are interested in Zeus. He is crate trained, almost fully house trained, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.
