About Stanley

Sweet, soulful eyes and a long, softly tousled, low shedding coat makes Stanley a stunning doggy standout. Clearly someone's pet at one time, this previous stray is the essence of easiness, calmness and happiness at home with his family. Strong and sturdy at 55 pounds, he followed his foster dad like a devoted shadow. He enjoys playing with the other dogs indoors,and prefers exploring the grounds to playing ball or running with the dogs outside. Extremely affectionate, he loves curling up on the couch with his fosters, and greets them each morning with a wide, happy yawn accompanied by a series of energetic tail wags. He knows 'sit', 'lie down' and 'shake', is leash, crate and house trained, and is now on the hunt for a home to call his now and fur-ever. He needs a home without cats and small kids and preferably one in a quieter neighborhood, without a lot of socializing going on.
