About Dutch & Ruckus

My husband and I after much thought, debate, and reconsideration have decided that we need to rehome our two huskies. We are located in Virginia Beach, VA. We are willing to transport a reasonable distance. We adopted them at the age of 7 years old. Their previous owners were not truthful with us about the aggression they have towards all dogs. Due to my helping to care for my disabled mother (which will become permanent in a few years), she is unable to have her companion animal due to their aggression. They are great with each other and adults. They are also super sweet with new individuals. As far as we know they have never been tested around children. Ruckus is light grey/white and weighs about 72 lbs. He is completely up to date on all shots, heart worm prevention, and flea/tick prevention. He is fixed. He is a gorgeous dog that LOVES to be petted, play with balls, spend time outside in cooler weather. He isn't a barker but will do the husky 'talk'. He's laid back and spends most of his day curled up sleeping. They both love chewing rawhide bones and will share their bones with each other. We will only consider adoptions where they will stay together as they do not do very well separated. Any rehoming fee that is collected will be donated to a local shelter or husky rescue. We are asking for a $75 rehoming fee for each so a total of $150.
