About Tiny Tim

ILOCAL ADOPTION ONLY: Introducing Tiny Tim, a 6 month old Chihuahua who weighs in at a hefty 4 pounds! He came to us from a hoarder situation and had lived his life in a kennel. Because of this, and not having much human interaction, he needs to learn to trust. He is also learning that human touch is a good thing, and nothing for him to fear. His foster mom is working with him and he is making big strides already. While he is still afraid, he does let his foster mom pick him up. He will even sleep in her bed sometimes. Tiny Tim is heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is working on his housebreaking skills. He does fine with other dogs, but has not been tested with children or cats. Because of his small size, we feel we would not be suitable in a home with young children as their fast movements and activity levels would scare him. Tiny Tim will need to be in a home with a fenced in yard. Tiny Tim will need a family that understands he is learning how to be a beloved family member and will have patience and nurture him.
