About Junior

Purebred English Golden Retriever, gentle, friendly, housetrained, 2 years old, 75 pounds. We paid $2500 for his rescue (but only ask for a $500 adoption fee). We evaluated him for use as a therapy dog, but he 'failed out' and is now a 'career-change' dog because he is timid in new situations (but always gentle and would make an amazing pet). Our adoption fee is low because we want to make sure he goes to the right home. Never met cats, is good with other dogs, not used to being on a leash (but is fine on a leash). Preference will be given if you live within easy driving distance (so he won't have to be shipped via airplane). Please tell us how many hours he would be left alone per day. Thanks! :-)
