Ava at no fault of her own needs to find a new home because we have a older female Boxer that has began to be very aggressive towards her and she won't let up even when Ava submits to her, this ends up turning into a full blown fight. I've been bit a couple times trying to split them up and I'm worried one of my kids will get hurt too. They do fine together in my fenced in back yard but our house is too small to keep them apart safely for the winter. We love Ava very much but it's for the safety of my family that we rehome one of them and the Boxer has been here longer. She's very treat motivated and loves to chase anything that you can throw, she has learned to catch just about anything in the air. She has a double coat so she enjoys being outside in the winter but not when it's too cold and she likes being in air conditioning when it's super hot. She likes water and will play in a pond or pool. She has all the German Sheppard traits like whining, high prey drive and very attentative and protective of her yard. She's been socialized as a puppy but we're in the country so she doesn't see much city life now. She's not very fond of horses. She has killed one of our chickens but she's was just playing to rough. She does need to have some training but for the most part behaves pretty good. She doesn't want to come when she's called is the main issue for not behaving. She is a really lovable girl, goofy at times too. Ava is up to dated on all her vaccines but needs to be spayed. She's a big girl about 65 -70 lbs with more growing to do. I was told she was full blooded but her ears don't stand up . One of her ears has the tip missing because of one of the fights they got into. I would like her to have a fenced in yard or be in the country here she can run, she is super fast.
