About Margie

Meet Margie, a little girl that wants nothing more than to be by her owner's side and receive pets and belly rubs! She's a down for anything kind of girl and will provide lots of smiles and love! Margie has had a rough start in life. She came to the rescue along with five other dogs as part of a hoarding case after her owner passed away. Unfortunately she was confined to the house and never given chance to go outside or to even go on walks. As a result, she is currently in the process of being potty trained and making great progress with using puppy pads! Margie wouldn't mind having another dog companion, and she is docile so cats shouldn't be a problem either. We're not sure how she would do with children. She is a little nervous at first, but if you give her a chance she will be your best friend and at your side with tons of love! The Empty Shelter Project operates as a foster-based animal rescue. We do not have an actual facility for viewing dogs but potential adopters are welcome to meet dogs at our adoption events at PetValu every Sunday from 11-3 (except the first Sunday of the month). If you see a specific pet you would like to meet, please contact us in advance to make sure they will be at the event. PetValu is located at 10079 Market Circle Dr, Manassas VA 20110.
