About Casper

Casper has made quite the journey to the Northern Virginia area. This gorgeous boy is a Texan native, he was one of the many dogs who were homeless prior to the hurricane and transported out of Texas to help make space in the shelters and rescues in those areas for the influx of displaced pets. Casper is estimated to be between one and two years old and has the sun-shiney young dog mentality without all of the puppy bad habits. Casper is always up for playing with his toys or his beloved humans and appreciates every walk he gets. He seems to be crate trained and has had a minimal amount of accidents while adjusting to his new schedule. Casper gets along great with dogs and cats alike but nothing compares to how much he LOVES his humans...especially giving them kisses! The Empty Shelter Project operates as a foster-based animal rescue. We do not have an actual facility for viewing dogs but potential adopters are welcome to meet dogs at our adoption events at PetValu every Sunday from 11-3 (except the first Sunday of the month). If you see a specific pet you would like to meet, please contact us in advance to make sure they will be at the event. PetValu is located at 10079 Market Circle Dr, Manassas VA 20110.
