About Beau

This 2&1/2 year old boy was surrendered by his owner after a recent fire burned their home to the ground. After a very emotional and tearful parting between two heartbroken souls, Beau was led to the kennels where he has held a constant vigil hoping his papa would return for him. He is timid and so grateful for comforting arms and any attention. His heart is lonely and aching. Beau is housebroken. His adoption fee is $100. Arrival date Dec 15 2017. Adoption of all dogs/cats requires an approval process to ensure that they are going into a home appropriate for their needs and that will keep them safe. Each is loved and nurtured by our staff and volunteers during their stay with us and each is placed with same due diligence that they would be given if they were our own family members. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter which provides quality care, spay/neuter-all vaccines, deworming, vet exam, standard disease testing and for dogs-monthly heart worm prevention treatment. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open. Adoption hours are Tues-Sat 10-4 and Sun 1-4.
