About Dusty - Pending

Adoption Fee: $250
Havanese / Poodle
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

We have enough great applications at this time for Dusty ..we are not taking any more. We know, he is adorable but please keep reading and don't just head to our website yet to fill out an application until you know the real deal on Dusty. The first step in our process is to fill out the adoption application. If the application is approved, we are happy to arrange a meet and greet. Dusty is a precious, 2 year old Havanese/Poodle mix weighing 12 lbs. Dusty is up to date on his shots, neutered and micro chipped. We are looking for very specific type of home for Dusty, so please don't be offended if we say no to your application. It is not a reflection of your ability to be a great pet parent, but understand our priority is to place Dusty in the right home where he will have the best chance at being successful and meeting his needs. Dusty is a lap dog, through and through. There is nothing more he enjoys then being with his people as a part of their daily lives. We will be looking for a physically fenced in yard (no collars or underground). So far Dusty has been an only dog, but he does do well with other dogs if they are the right size and temperament so if there is another dog in the house a meet and greet is required. Due to his coat he will need regular professional grooming. He has a sweet personality, loves belly rubs and sleeping in your bed by your side. He is still working on his leash and potty training which will take patience and time. Dusty is currently located in Crossville, Tennessee and the adoption fee is $250. Dusty is available to out of state adopters, however, we will require a home visit and you will need to be able to come to Tennessee to pick him up if approved. If you would like to adopt Dusty please fill out our online adoption application at
