About Diesel

Diesel is a 3 yr old neutered vaccinated and microchipped boxer bulldog mix.. he is extremely loving and a cuddle bug. He is always so excited to meet new people and loves to smell everything around him. He makes all kind of funny noises and I have never had a dog more expressive than he is with his face or his attitude (he can be quite sassy). Although he is not exposed to them everyday, he loves kids and has been very gentle around babies. He has spent no time around cats, but the ones in our neighborhood he would try to chase. He does not spend a lot of time with dogs either as he is very big and very excitable. He spent some weeks with another retriever with no problems, but should be introduced to new friends properly! His favorite toys are squeakers or anything he can 'gnaw' on like bones or really soft, plushie toys. He has missing bottom front teeth so he likes to massage those gums. He loves to play fetch! He loves to bury his head into his lap and rub his back across the floor. He will lick your legs when you get out of the shower and will follow you everywhere! He is a very quiet dog and will never chew anything other than his toys or go to the restroom in the house. If he has to go out, he will let you know! He knows when you are hurt, upset, or happy and and he reciprocates those emotions. Diesel is very stubborn. If he wants to sit somewhere and you will try to move him, he will put all his weight against you. This was sometimes complicated since he is a bed and cover hog. He does jump. It is something I have tried to teach him, but it is tricky when others let him jump on them. He is a beggar even though I never feed him people food while eating, but once you tell him to go away, he will listen. Adoption fee 350
