This big boy is Achilles, a handsome low rider of a kitty. Chilles is an approximately three to four year old gentleman who appears to be an British Shorthair/Maine Coon/ Chartreux Mix. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and tested negative for both feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus. Chilles has a beautiful blur/gray coat and stunning emerald eyes. He sports white mitts on his front paws and white boots on his back paws. This big guy is an absolute love; he climbs into my lap the minute I sit down and instantly begins to make biscuits, so much so that a blanket may be warranted to protect one's legs from all of the kneading. An attention monger and a talker supreme, this kitty boy is super interactive and is in need of an adopter who enjoys an in your face, under your feet kitty, as Chilles desires to be the focus of your attention. A big lug of a guy, Chilles weighs in at approximately 15 pounds. This now Indoor only man was formerly a bedraggled boy who found himself living on the streets scavenging for food. Thankfully those days are well behind him. Achilles currently resides with other rescue kitties and does well with them, particularly his somewhat chunky but smaller sidekick, Prospero, who was rescued at approximately the same time as Achilles, but Chilles can be a little pushy and somewhat dominant as he jockies for position for love and affection and of course food. If you are interested in becoming this big boy's mom or dad, please feel free to contact me. I do, when possible, like to receive a vet reference.
