About Juno

Lavernia, Tx This sweet merle boy is June! He is a neutered male Dane, and looking for his forever home. Juno is a very fun and beautiful pup. He loves to play with his people and other dogs. He does not chase horses and ignores the indoor parrots. I'm unsure of his response to cats. He usually does not counter surf but you need to keep an eye on him as he still gets tempted at times. He does not tear up anything. He knows which are dog toys and leaves shoes and other things alone. He will go to the door and look at you when he needs to go potty. He has not shown any resource guarding with food, treats or toys. He is not dog aggressive. He knows sit and down and is good on a leash. Sometimes he walks faster than his person when he gets excited, distracted or fearful. He is redirected easily and takes correction well once he trusts you. He will need a confident person who is willing to continue his socialization with people as he tends to be fearful of strangers and if not addressed may growl and try to nip. With an attentive handler he is easily corrected and will sit and/or down to change his focus. He recovers from fear quickly and something as small as leaving the vet's office and being outside can restore his comfort level. He is very smart and needs consistent and firm boundaries. He loves sleeping on the couch and in bed with you. He has had a very unstable life to date and he deserves stability and love. He is ready to love you and warm your lap and heart.
