About Odin

GEORGIA FOSTER or ADOPTER NEEDED!! Odin is a gorgeous 4 year old neutered male. Due to some behavioral issues, Odin has been in training to work on his issues. Odin's behavioral issues stem from being unsure about everything. Lacking confidence, Odin dealt with fear by barking or exhibiting 'aggressive' behavior, but this guy really just didn't know what to do. Similarly, he has a high guard drive in addition to being fearful. He has made huge progress with his trainer who has had no problems with this striking Dane. Odin gets along well with the trainers children (ages 3 and 8) as well as his own family dog; however his trainer controls all of Odin's interactions with leadership and guidance. Odin really needs a strong, confident owner/foster who can continue his training. He should not be left to interact with others on his own as his lack of courage could create a problem. Odin would probably do better as the only dog in the household; kids are okay if his foster/adopter provides leadership and guidance during interactions and the children are taught to respect him. His trainer says that Odin is a sweet boy and would do really well if he had someone who will provide him with direction, exercise, and love. Now that Odin's basic obedience training is completed we are looking for a home for this boy as he moves out of the training facility. Please consider giving this guy the home he deserves!
