Please contact Cindy ([email protected]) for more information about this pet. Do you believe in love at first lick? Meet your new favorite pool buddy! If you are looking for an active, fun-loving dog to share your life, I may be the perfect girl for you! I am whip-smart and full of potential. I'm just waiting to catch the eye of the right human partner who can bring out the best in me with consistency, exercise, training and love. The volunteers and trainers here have been teaching me skills that will be useful in my new home. They are always impressed with how much I love to learn new things and how fun training is for us both. I know a lot of stuff: sit, stay, down, go to bed, wave and my own trick called 'Where's Sharpie?' which I'd love to show you when I meet you. Check out this video of me showing off ALL of my tricks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y04AgOUj1mE&sns=em I also walk quite nicely on my leash in quiet environments, but I am still learning how to be calm when there's lots of vehicle or dog traffic, so if you have a fenced yard that would make it easier for both of us . I would really like a family with adults or older kids (at least 12) so that everyone can get involved in my fun training games. My dream would be to be you're only pet. Small animals like cats are just too exciting for me, and I actually find a lot of other dogs quite scary. I do have a few boyfriends in playgroups here at Brother Wolf though, so if you have a social, tolerant male dog, I'd be willing to meet him and see if we click. Just in case you are worried at this point that I sound high-maintenance, I will tell you that I am also a champion snuggler. If you are a special person who can appreciate a dog as smart and athletic and affectionate as me, Click here to watch a video of Sharpie. All Brother Wolf animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations before adoption (if species appropriate). Application and counseling is required prior to all adoptions. Individuals interested in adopting a puppy are STRONGLY encouraged to download and read this FREE ebook. Even if you've raised puppies in the past, this is an invaluable resource to help make your new addition successful! Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
