https://beautiesandbeasts.org/adopt/our-dogs/penelope See, I used to live with a bunch of other dogs. Supposedly, one of them got loose and killed a neighbor's goat because he was really hungry. The neighbor got very mad and killed one of my friends, and I heard the rest of us were going to get hurt too. Instead, 2 really nice ladies from Wichita showed up and took my white pittie friend with them. Then a truck showed up and loaded 2 of us up in the truck, and the rest were loaded up in crates in the back of the truck. Somebody said something about Louisiana and hog hunting and off we went. A short time later, those 2 nice ladies from Wichita who had come out to save my friend found us at a stop sign. They begged to let me and another pup go with them back to Wichita. The guys would only let the ladies have me, so they quickly took me and loaded me into their car where my pittie friend was! We both got to go to a new foster home where we get to stay inside, eat twice a day, get lots of yummy treats, and play with other friends. We feel like princesses here and can't wait to find forever homes of our own! Penelope is a playful girl, both with humans and other dogs. She can be a little nervous with new people but warms up quickly. She is mostly potty trained and is crate trained. Penelope has also been tested with small dogs and cats and did well but does need corrected at times.
