About lexie

lexie is a very small (3 lb) long hair chi. She was abandoned in a parking lot. I found her and have been fostering for the past three months at my home with my three dogs. I took her to the vet and they think she is about 2-3 yrs. old. they could not tell if she had been spayed so we are waiting to see if she comes in to heat. She has not at this point. We had all her shots done and had her checked. The vet felt she was underweight at 3 lbs. she has since gained .5 pound and looks good. This little girl has not been treated well by whomever dumped her. She has a voracious appetite , like she was starved. She is apprehensive to be picked up, although when she wants she will come to you. She has no issues with my dogs. I feel she just needs a ton of attention. We both work and can not give it to her.
