About Panda

Hi there! My name is Panda and I am the sweetest young German Shepherd mix you'll ever meet! I love to run and play but also enjoy hanging out with my humans when they work, read, or watch TV. My favorite show is National Geographic Wild! I get SO excited when I hear the lions roar!!! I also REALLY enjoy playing with my foster siblings, car rides, walks in the neighborhood and gnawing on Nylabones!! My foster mom says I am very well socialized with other dogs. I'm not exactly sure what that means but I do know that other dogs LOVE ME and I love them right back! I'm still working on trusting humans so am quite cautious when I first meet new people. I love my foster humans A LOT, and am quick to alert them when I hear strange sounds or sense possible danger. Ok, so I bet you are reading my story now because you saw my amazing photos. Am I right? I bet you also noticed that I'm a TRIPAWD! Yep, I REALLY messed up one of my back legs awhile back and it couldn't be repaired so the nice Sav-A-Pet Vet took it off. Now I can run fast, chase squirrels, climb stairs, hop up on tall comfy beds (if I'm allowed) and do everything that other dogs can do!! No worries there!! Panda will do best in a home with one or more other dogs, and although she hasn't lived with cats, Panda's been afraid of the few she's met. Since Panda's extremely cautious of new people, she will do best with a very patient family and quiet home. An adoption application is available on our website: https://www.savapethouston.com.
