Although Morgan and Monty (see Monty's post) can be adopted separately, it sure would be nice if these two boys could stay together as they are very bonded. Both were found abandoned in a vacant lot :( They are super friendly, smart and loyal dogs, but will need a patient adopter at first as new situations frighten them and it takes a bit to warm up. This guy is Morgan. He is a 2 year old, 50lb Lab/Catahoula blend. He may not look Catahoula, but if you see his brother Monty's coloring, you will see why we say that breed combination. Although very shy at first, once Morgan gets to know you he listens to all you say and is full of playfullness and kisses. Morgan loves other dogs and although he is not fostered with cats, we suspect he would do just fine. A child free home would probably be best. Not because Morgan isn't super friendly - he is. It is because he does get nervous in new situations and children bring a lot of that to the table. Morgan is crate and house trained, ok on leash and very obedient. Due to skittishness with new things, a physically fenced in yard would be best for this handsome boy. Both these dogs are real gems and for the person who is willing to put in a little patience and time - in return they will get great dogs! With either dog (or both), we will consider allowing an approved applicant to foster with the option to adopt. If you like what you have read here, please send an inquiry today! Morgan is fully vetted and microchipped.
