About Trixi

Trixi is a lab/ pitt bull mix who I have had for a little over 6 years. She is the sweetest dog and most intelligent dog I have ever owned but she can be aggressive and does not get along with other animals and some people. She bit a neighbor while on a walk with me the other day and I can only assume she thought she was protecting me even though I did try to introduce her to my friend. I live in a neighborhood with lots of dogs and neighbors who walk their dogs etc. Trixi would do well with someone who knows how to handle breeds who can be unpredictable as described above...she also would make a good guard dog. If you meet her at my house, she would most likely try to get in your lap or lick you all over! This incident with the neighbor was most out of character for her...I knew not to have her around other animals but I had never seen her bite a human being. In the interest of my neighborhood I need to get a home for her somewhere else. This is breaking my heart ...I have lots of other pictures of her etc. if you are interested.
