This gorgeous boy is Sir Frost. He is what is called a Texas Heeler. He is a Cattledog/Australian Shepherd mix. He is about 4 years old and weighs about 45 pounds. Sir Frost has a great start. This smart boy is already house trained and learning about the crate. He already knows the commands for sit, stay, and go to bed. Sir Frost is also a nice guy. He is good with women, wary of most men, and should be okay with female teens. Sir Frost simply wants his person to be a confident leader who has a quieter home life. As with all Herding breeds, he prefers a polite introduction. He is nice with female dogs and pups. As for boy dog pals, he prefers submissive boy dog pals. He would do best as an only dog simply because he is more interested in his person than other dogs. Sir Frost loves to fetch. He is also is good on leash and polite in the car, so he is ready to go on adventures. That said, he will be a solid hiking partner. He isn't likely to want to be a dog beach kind of guy because he prefers quieter outdoor activities. Sir Frost knows how to make you feel very special when you come home. He wiggles and jumps in happiness to see you. He also loves to lay his head in a lap and get attention. Sir Frost is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is ready to meet potential adopters. Adoptions must be finalized in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
