About Ruger

Hello! Thanks for your interest in Ruger! She is a young Female lab/pitbull mix who has a wonderful personality. I adopted Ruger as a 4 month old puppy from a local shelter. From a young age she has been fearful of strangers (mostly men) but tends to warm up to people after a few hours of interaction. Our only problem with Ruger has been her relationship with our older dog Maggie, the two don't get along. We are looking to rehome Ruger into an house with no dogs and parents who will love her as much as I do. Ruger is incredibly intelligent and is both house broken and kennel trained. She knows a variety of tricks and she knows all basic commands (could use some work on recall). She's loyal and wants nothing more than to cuddle on the couch with her parents. Ruger is also really athletic, I take her on 4 mile runs with me everyday and shell never turn down a game of fetch. In short, Ruger would make a fantastic addition to any family.
