About Stripes

We've all got stars in our eyes over Stripes! This dog is tops! He's a 4 year old American Staffordshire terrier mix who is a great medium size at 55 pounds. He arrived at ACL from an animal control facility where he had waited months for rescue. Despite his long wait, Stripes remained an easygoing, tolerant, friendly, well-behaved dog who is so happy to go for walks and please you for treats! He has a glossy black coat, and despite his name, he only has one stripe - right down the middle of his forehead! Stripes is good with other low-key dogs, and he'd make a wonderful addition to a home with kids of all ages. He's simply meant to be a family dog! Stripes needs moderate exercise, but he'll settle in nicely for tv time, too!
