Nova came to use skinny, scared and pregnant. She has come a long way, but still has a lot to learn. Nova will need to go to a home with at least one other dog so she continues to gain confidence. She has been with her foster family for over 3 months and is still skittish, but when she feels comfortable with you, she will come up to you and give you sweet kisses. Seeing Nova become more confident has been enjoyable and she will continue to be a great dog, she just needs someone with some patience to give her time become more confident and learn trust from her human family. She is an escape artist so it's best if you have a 6ft privacy fence or are out with her while she is out in the yard. She doesn't go far when she escapes, she's always stayed near the house. She is also a bit of a chewer, so continued crate training would be best. Nova is a sweet dog and has a wonderful personality, she would be a great addition to a family with other dogs who need a playmate and an understanding that it will take some time for her to grow more comfortable.
