About Bentley

American Bulldog mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

ABOUT ME: What can we say? Bentley is just the BEST! This 5 year old American Bulldog boy is the complete package of good looks and awesome personality! He's come such a long way from the sick, shut-down pup we pulled from the shelter, and now he's ready to find a family of his own! WHAT I NEED IN A HOME: Bentley is a friendly, affectionate, easy-going guy who loves to go on car rides. We think Bentley would do well in just about any type of home, but he'd probably prefer to find a family that was more on the calm and laid-back side. He currently lives in a house with a female Boxer and a male Cane Corso and everyone gets along just fine. Sometime, his foster mom's human kids come to visit and they bring their cat, but Bentley doesn't mind one bit! THE DETAILS: Bentley is housebroken, crate trained (but doesn't love it), knows basic command and is good on a leash. Bentley is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He has started treatment for heartworms, which he will need to continue with his forever family. For more information on Bentley or any of our other dogs, please email us at: [email protected]. Ready to give Bentley the forever home of his dreams? Fill out our Adoption Application, located at bullpenrescue.org under the 'work with us' tab. We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle, since this will help us determine if the dog you are interested in is a good match. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a 'perfect placement' so we know that they will not be failed again.
