About August

August is a dapper 8 yr old, 14lb, Chihuahua/Min Pin mix. He was brought to the high kill shelter as a stray where we pulled him off the euthanasia list. August had flea allergies which have left him with bald spots at the top of his tail and back. He also has an old injury to his front leg which causes a slight limp. This injury does not cause him any pain and the vet suggested to just leave it as is since it is not causing any problems. August would do best in a home with no other pets but seems to do fine with adults and kids. He is crate trained, housebroken and walks wonderfully on a leash.
